Tech. page 100G tank

With this aquarium I wanted to prove that small can also be very attractive.
All dimensions remained the same as on the 50G but with twice the depth, so 80 cm.
I wanted a rockscape filled completely with corals like on the 50G but more space around it.

Also this time I wanted to take the rockscape to a new level.
I wanted a bridge like rockscape with many arms sticking out of this structure.
Thus i created a rockscape with 2 contactpoints only and a lot of free space.
The corals seem to float in the water and the fish can hide underneath them.   Pics    Links to my video's

I keep an online album about this tank with more and bigger pics:        Robertus_album

So this aquarium is 120 by 80( deep) by 40 cm.
Total with the the sump below it contains 400 liters (about 100 gallons)

It is a normal berlin system, with overflow to the sump below.
It has two back walls with an very wide overflow, 1 m wide.
In the sump is the skimmer (smallest BBK), the zeovit reaktor, a dutch made calcium reaktor, a container for activated carbon(KZ).

Water is pumped back to the aquarium with a Red dragon 14000 l/hour and a Red dragon 6500 l/hour.
The water returns with 2 normal outlets at the back of the tank.
In the aquarium in the front 2 tunze nanostreamers each 5500 l/h with intervaltimer.
At the back there are two more tunze's each 13000 L/hour, also with intervaltimer.

The lightning is  10 t5 54 watt, 4 blue, 6 white, HQI are 2 times 250 watt 13000K

In the aquarium 25 kg dead live rock. Made like a bridge with speedglue.
On this rockscape:
100 hard corals most sps.
20 gobies all in groups or pairs, some very rare.
30 other fishes like wrasses, anthias, apogon, etc.
Other nano reef invertebrates, in fact the whole aquarium is crowded with nano animals.

Water is changed once every 2 weeks 10%.
I use the KZ zeovit products, only to regulate the water quality and to polish the colors.
This enables me to give more food for the corals and adjust water quality if needed with the KZ products.
I use those producs only after looking very carefully at the corals and  I am always busy adjusting dosages accordingly.

I have found that many problems with sps can be prevented with good coral feedings while maintaining best water quality.
This is why I now also feed phytoplankton, oystereggs and coral-v-power.

Self made rockscape without the 6 extra arms ( attached later in the tank)

I give plenty of food, and the corals clean the water again rapidly.
